Screening Policy FAQ
Common questions about how AI screening works, answered the way our team answers them.
A candidate opted out of the AI interview, then changed their mind. Can they still complete it?
Yes. Opting out once doesn't lock a candidate out. They can call the interview number back whenever they're ready and complete the screening. Their earlier opt-out doesn't affect their eligibility.
Can we remove a section of the interview for certain job types?
Yes. Interview scripts are per-job, so different roles can use different scripts. A common example: subcontractor (1099) roles that skip the work-experience and employment-gaps section your full-time roles keep. Duplicate your script, remove the section you don't need, and attach the trimmed version to those jobs. If you'd like us to build the variant for you, tell us which section to drop and for which roles.
Who makes the final hiring decision?
You do, always. The AI screen gathers answers to your qualifying questions and produces a summary; your team reviews and decides. For the compliance details, see How does candidate filtering and assessment work?
